Although she started with film studies and foreign studies, she eventually entered the startup path. In the latest episode of MamBiznes Talks, we talk to Kasia Gryzło, co-founder of Hedepa (formerly HearMe).

Kasia Gryzło worked in the creative industry for several years, and then in one of the most crisis moments, which was 2020, she started her first business. It was HearMe, a startup supporting employees' mental health in the form of a benefit. After 5 years, it was taken over by the Czech company, Hedepy.
What does being taken over by another company mean for Kasia? Why didn't she pursue her career path as a film expert? Can he maintain work life balance while working in a startup? Today we are talking to Kasia Gryzło, co-founder of Hedepa (formerly HearMe) and continuing the series dedicated to women in business.
Wellbeing on the startup market
Kasia Gryzło believes in a world where people don't have stomachaches due to stress at work. And this was her idea when, together with Michał Pośnik and Paweł Pierścionek, she founded a startup in one of the most crisis moments, i.e. the pandemic. Despite this, they managed to convince companies that it is worth taking care of employees' mental health as part of benefits.
Years later, HearMe attracted the Czech company Hedepy, which took over the Polish startup. In our latest episode, the word “exit” has been changed in all cases and Kasia honestly talks about what the negotiations meant for her and what emotions accompanied her when signing the contract.
In the latest episode of our “Women in Business” series, we talk about her path from film studies to the world of technology, about difficult decisions and moments of doubt, but also about the courage that accompanies women entrepreneurs in the male world of startups. Kasia talks about what the acquisition of HearMe means to her, what emotions accompanied the negotiations and why she thinks this is only the beginning of her journey in business.
We will also consider whether true work-life balance is possible at all in startups. This is a conversation about success that cannot always be measured in numbers, about breaking barriers and how women are changing the face of technology business in Poland.
