Tanker and oil terminal damaged. Attack on the port of Tuapse in Russia


“Fragments of unmanned aerial vehicles fell on the tanker, damaging its superstructure,” we read in a message from the authorities in the Telegram application, quoted by Reuters. A fire broke out on the ship. The crew was evacuated.

According to Reuters, there is also one in the attacked port Rosneft oil terminal, which was also said to have been damaged.

Unofficial Russian and Ukrainian news channels published photos overnight you can see a fire near the port.

The port of Tuapse is one of the key export hubs for Russian crude oil and petroleum products. Recently Kyiv intensified attacks on Russian oil refineries and fuel storage facilities.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that air defense units were destroyed 32 Ukrainian drones over Krasnodar Krai. A total of 164 of them were shot down over Russian territory, the Crimean Peninsula and the Black and Azov Seas.

Falling drone debris also damaged it residential building in the village of Sosnowyj, near Tuapse, as well Tuapse railway station. The Russian Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsy) also said the night attacks led to temporary closure of some Russian airportsmainly in the south and west of the country.
