Amalia Bellantoni and her husband Dominico were detained on Sunday, after the police executed a home search warrant, in the municipality of Bucharest, in a criminal file in which investigations are being carried out regarding the commission of crimes of qualified robbery.
The measure was taken after Dominico Bellantoni together with another man, hit two husbands, their neighbors.
During the conflict, the injured people took out their phones to film and Dominico Bellantoni took them and gave them to his wife, Amalia, who never gave them back.
The Bellantonis were detained. The second man who, together with Bellantoni Dominico, hit the two husbands is also wanted.

“Today, November 2, 2025, police officers from the General Directorate of Police of the Municipality of Bucharest – Police Section 8 implemented a home search warrant, in the municipality of Bucharest, in a criminal file in which investigations are being carried out regarding the commission of crimes of aggravated robbery, complicity in aggravated robbery and beating or other violence”it is stated in a Police statement.
In fact, on October 30, 2025, around 7:50 p.m., the officers of the 8th Police Department were alerted, by calling 112, by a 66-year-old woman, regarding the fact that, around 7:30 p.m., while she was with her husband, a 67-year-old man, at his home address, located in Sector 2, had been assaulted physically, context in which several mobile phones were allegedly stolen from them.
The police promptly went to the scene, contacted the caller and found that the issues reported were confirmed.
At the same time, a medical team went to the scene, which gave the two people first aid, later they were transported to the hospital for investigations and additional medical care.
The two injured persons were informed of the provisions of Law no. 26/2004, respectively the possibility of issuing an extended protection order, they accept taking such a measure.
Also, both the man and the woman exercised their right to file a criminal complaint.
From the investigations carried out by the police, it emerged that, on the mentioned date, around 19.50, while the two were in the common yard of the residential building, in Sector 2, they were allegedly hit with fists, legs and a blunt object, on the head and lower limbs, by two men.
In this context, one of the aggressors, a 57-year-old man, would have snatched three mobile phones from the hands of the injured persons, which he would later hand over to a 43-year-old woman, who appropriated the respective goods.
For the administration of probation, during today, November 2, 2025, a home search warrant was implemented in the city of Bucharest.
The 57-year-old man and the 43-year-old woman were found and taken to the headquarters of the subunit for questioning, and several items of interest in the case were also seized.
Based on the evidence administered, the two persons were ordered to be detained for 24 hours, to be presented to the magistrates with a legal proposal.
Currently, activities are underway to identify and track down the second man suspected of committing the acts.
The investigations are continued by the officers of the 8th Police Department, under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office attached to the District 2 Court, in terms of committing the crimes of aggravated robbery, complicity in aggravated robbery and beating or other violence.
