The military-patriotic forum of the Sovetsky district brought together more than 1,000 Krasnoyarsk residents

A military-patriotic forum “Let's Preserve Traditions!” was held in the Sovetsky district of Krasnoyarsk. Let's defend our homeland!”

The mayor's office said that this year the forum turned into a real educational marathon. The organizers deliberately chose the format of the month-long program so that every city resident could find a suitable participation format for themselves.

At the first stage, students presented their creative performances dedicated to love for the Motherland. They performed songs of their own composition, recited poems and even showed theatrical performances.

During the second stage, forum participants were able to visit the closed riot police site “Ratibor”, where they got acquainted with samples of weapons and studied types of military equipment.

“We were shown different drones, and were also allowed to try on body armor and helmets. They are heavy, but they look, of course, very cool,” said German Semizorov, a student at the Krasnoyarsk Cooperative Technical School.

The third stage of the event was the final one and began with a plenary session. The head of the district administration, Elena Lanina, delivered a welcoming speech to the students. She wished the young guys to choose the path of serving the Motherland.

At the forum, the guys had a unique opportunity to communicate live with the participants of the special military operation – Alexander Sudzinsky and Maxim Bogdankevich.

“Every family should preserve and pass on from generation to generation its history – the memory of exploits and courage. My great-grandfather took part in the Great Patriotic War. I was told about him all my childhood. Therefore, today I am ready to defend my home, my family, my country,” shared Maxim Bogdankevich.

At the forum's interactive platforms, guests got acquainted with samples of weapons from the Great Patriotic War, and also wrote letters to the soldiers. These letters will soon be sent to the front line.

“The Patriotic Forum on the eve of National Unity Day is a good opportunity to show our unity. Even being in the rear, everyone can bring Victory closer: educate young people, knit warm clothes for soldiers, weave camouflage nets, send humanitarian aid,” Elena Lanina emphasized.

Let us remind you that the forum “Let's Preserve Traditions! We’ll defend our homeland!” takes place in Krasnoyarsk for the second time this year. In the spring, more than 5,000 people became participants and guests of the events.
