In the Republic of Khakassia, a 30-year-old woman was sentenced for killing her friend while drunk.
The investigation and the court established that on the afternoon of June 6, 2025, the convict drank alcohol in company in the kitchen of a hostel located on Kalinina Street in the city of Chernogorsk. During the feast, a conflict occurred between the woman and her 48-year-old friend, during which the attacker strangled the victim in the presence of eyewitnesses.
A criminal case was opened against her under Part 1 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder).
“The involvement of the defendant in the incriminated act was proven by the totality of evidence collected by the investigation, including the testimony of witnesses, the conclusions of forensic examinations and other materials of the case,” the Investigative Committee said.
The court sentenced the woman to 8 years of imprisonment in a general regime correctional colony.
