Ukraine will not revive without people and large industry

Our economy can be revived only if we support big business, develop personnel and create a state industrial policy.
Such a conclusion was reached during the Kyiv International Economic Forum (KIEF).
According to Oleksandr Vodoviza, head of the Metinvest Group CEO's office, our economy halved during the war. Therefore, Ukraine should move to a global industrial policy, like the USA or Germany, with large investment projects.
Among the main problems of the industry, he named limited access to financing, personnel shortage and unpredictable tariff policy.
“We are losing 160 workers a day because of the permission to leave men aged 18-22. These are future engineers and managers. Without personnel, the industry will not be able to develop,” he says.
It is also necessary to create a state program for the return of Ukrainians after the war, because even with the presence of investments, large projects will not be launched without people.
