According to the court decision, the three arrested people are accused of culpable destruction.

The court also decided to prohibit the activity of the private company for 60 days.

The searches in the Rahova explosion file. 6 people interviewed

On Wednesday morning, the Romanian Police, under the coordination of the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Bucharest Court of Appeal, carried out eight searches of natural and legal persons, in the criminal file drawn up following the explosion in Rahova. Following them, 6 people were questioned.

“Of the eight searches, four are carried out in Bucharest, two in Ilfov and one search each in Prahova and Teleorman counties,” the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police (IGPR) said in a press release.

“The activities are aimed at the lifting of documents and storage units,” said the police.

The prosecutors went to the Distrigaz headquarters, but also to the homes of the company's employees who arrived in the field, and also to the company called by the tenants to do the gas inspection in the block of flats in Rahova.

The head of the police investigating the case said that the epicenter of the explosion and the path of the gases had been determined, and now the investigators are waiting for the Insemex report to draw the first conclusions.

As a result of the explosion on Vicina Street, three people died and another 15 were injured. The block is at risk of collapse, which is why the tenants cannot return to their homes.
