The minister reminded that a meeting with the owner of the land was planned on Wednesday. Krajewski pointed out that instead of selling the plot, an earlier solution was possible, such as proposing to lease the land in another place that could still be used for agriculture.

Minister of Agriculture: We will find a solution
The exchange conditions mentioned by the current owner include a similar valuation class and the land's intended use for agricultural purposes. The minister assured that the priority is to quickly transfer the land for the needs of the CPK. “We will find the best solution so that the land reaches CPK as soon as possible” – emphasized Stefan Krajewski.
During the conference, the minister also expressed gratitude to the mayor of Grodzisk Mazowiecki for the declaration of cooperation. As he noted, the mayor declared the possibility of accelerating activities regarding the spatial development plan, which could facilitate the acquisition of a plot in the event of failure to reach an agreement with the current owner.

A scandal over a plot of land for the CPK
According to information from Wirtualna Polska, in 2023, shortly before the change of power in Poland, the Ministry of Agriculture gave consent to the sale of a plot of 160 ha by KOWR to Piotr Wielgomas. This area is located on the route of the planned high-speed railway line connecting Warsaw with the CPK airport. The value of the transaction was PLN 22.8 million and was finalized on December 1, 2023, just before PiS returned to power.
The WP website also reported that before the sale of the plot, Dawton's company was visited by Robert Telus, then Minister of Agriculture. The case aroused controversy, and Minister Krajewski emphasizes the need to find a solution that will allow the implementation of the key infrastructure project.
