“So, the Office of the Ombudsman receives appeals about unlawful actions of individual employees of TCC and SP, in particular in cases of so-called “busification”, illegal detention, restriction of freedom and use of physical force and other unlawful actions,” said Lubinets. “This is unacceptable and violates human rights. For every case that we are informed about or we receive information from the media and media, we always react legally.”
At the same time, according to Lubinets, there is “another dangerous trend” – “emotional and thoughtless actions of citizens in response, which can have tragic consequences.”
As an example, he named two incidents that occurred on October 30 – in Odessa, where a group of people attacked an official vehicle of the military registration and enlistment office, and in Kremenchug, when, during a document check, one of the men opened fire and wounded two TCC servicemen.
“Such actions of both TCC and JV employees and citizens are not only violations and crimes, but also a blow to the state in war conditions. They create not only a threat to the lives and safety of people, but also help the enemy achieve his goal – to discredit Ukrainian institutions, sow distrust and split society,” Lubinets emphasized.
