A retaining wall near a dangerous slope in Krasnoyarsk is 52% complete

The retaining wall at building No. 35 on Dachnaya Street is 52% complete; the contractor has completed work on installing a sheet pile—a metal profile. It was immersed in the ground to a depth of 6 meters. Soon, specialists will install the reinforcement frame and begin concrete work. A cap beam will be installed on top of the retaining wall.
The work is performed by JSC GC “EKS”. At the next stage, the contractor will begin strengthening the slope on the side of 2nd Ogorodnaya Street, namely the installation of anchor and dowel fields.
The condition of the slope and the house during these works will be monitored by LLC “Gradostroitel”. In October, the capital construction department entered into a municipal contract with the company to carry out work on geotechnical monitoring and control of the observation network at the site.
“Additional control is provided for in the design documentation. The Contractor, using an observation network and a beacon system, will monitor the impact of the installation of anchors on the slope. The company has already started installing the system,” the urban planning department added.
Work to strengthen the slope should be completed in the third quarter of 2026. All processes are controlled by the customer – MKU “Capital Construction Management”.
Let us remind you that the long-suffering slope in the area of residential buildings on Dachnaya and 2nd Ogorodnaya streets has been sliding since 2020. Last year, a contractor was sought several times to strengthen it, but the bidding ended in nothing.
This year, a municipal contract was signed with a company from Yaroslavl; the contractor began work in September.
