It was the 21st minute when the people of Bucharest managed a lethal counterattack, in which the young Rareș Pop was of great importance. The player brought from UTA Arad outwitted an opponent in the right lane, then crossed into the box for Jambor.
The Slovak striker managed to escape the marker and sent a header to the long corner, beating Brașoveanu.
It took Jambor 18 games to score his first goal at Rapid. It was the 7th game for him this season.
He was transferred by Rapid from Zilina in the summer of 2024, to replace former goalscorer Albion Rrahmani, sold to Sparta Prague. Dan Șucu then paid the sum of one million euros.
Six months later he was loaned back to Zilina, for whom he played until the summer, when he returned to the white and cherry.
