š£ The first application for privatization of OPZ!As RBC-Ukraine writes, Agro Gas Trading submitted an application and paid the registration fee to participate in the auction for the privatization of the Odesa port plant, which is scheduled for November 25, 2025.
The company has signed an NDA on its part and is awaiting the signature of government authorities to access confidential information about the plant.
š° We already wrote that the starting price is UAH 4.48 billion, which is almost equal to the amount that AGT invested in OPZ in 2019-2021.
After the 2021 competition, AGT supplied technical gas worth UAH 213 million to the OPZ in order for the plant to continue its work. These funds were never returned.
In 2022, a new contract was signed between the parties, which the plant later unilaterally terminated. The reasons for this decision were not officially explained.
š At this time, other applications for participation in privatization were not disclosed.
