UEFA had no mercy on the Romanian Football Federation, as a result of the incidents from match Romania U21 – Cyprus U21, from October 14, from the 2027 European U21 Championship qualifiers. In addition to the fine, the youth national team will play a home match with a closed stand if the irregularities are repeated in the next two years.
In Cluj-Napoca, at the stadium in Gruia, the “little tricolors” won 2-0 against the similar representative of Cyprus, in front of approximately 4,000 fans. Their behavior came to the attention of the international forum, which imposed a fine of over 11,000 FRF euros, plus the decision to close the second stand at a home match if it will be played in Gruia or similar sectors in another stadium.
However, the decision to close the stand is suspended, which means that it will apply for the next two years, only if the incidents are repeated.

“Laws should apply to all / Get the Israeli killers out of football”, was the message prepared by the Romanians, who demanded the exclusion of Israel from football, but which was not received by the law enforcement officers.
