Vinci invests billion in Polish companies. New strategy for 2026-2030

Vinci's president, Bartosz Drabikowski, emphasizes that the main goal of the strategy is to retain key patents, research and development teams and engineering competences in Poland. In his opinion, such activities are intended to strengthen the competitiveness of the Polish economy by creating added value. Vinci plans to invest in about 50 companies that stand out for their innovative solutions.
The company targets companies operating in areas such as space technologies, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, robotization, health and agriculture. Vinci's investments to date include companies such as SR Robotics, a manufacturer of underwater robots, Fluence Technology, specializing in the production of lasers, and ReSpo.Vision, using artificial intelligence in sports.
Vinci's new direction of activities is to support dual-use companies, i.e. those whose technologies can be used in both the civil and defense sectors. Bartosz Drabikowski emphasizes that the Polish market needs growth capital for companies that have already proven their value by introducing products to the market and generating the first revenues.
President Vinci draws attention to the investment gap in the segment of growth companies, where there are approximately 130 venture capital funds that make only a few investments a year. In contrast, the start-up market in Poland is well developed, with hundreds of deals concluded each year.
Drabikowski emphasizes that Vinci's strategic goal is to retain Polish companies on the domestic financial market. The idea is to ensure that companies that have used capital for initial development do not seek further support abroad, but continue their expansion in Poland.

In addition to capital, Vinci offers innovative companies the so-called smart money, i.e. access to knowledge, experience and experts from the BGK group. The company supports enterprises through business contacts and opening doors to large contractors. In return, it expects companies to build their competence, engineering and operational centers in Poland, from where they will supervise their international activities.
