New bypasses and expressways. GDDKiA announces ambitious road plans


Until the end of this year GDDKiA expects to announce 19 tenders for the construction of roads with a total length of almost 250 km. This means that throughout 2025, tenders will cover investments with a length of 387.5 km and a value exceeding PLN 13 billion.. According to the GDDKiA announcement, everything indicates that the tender plan will be implemented with a surplus.

This year's tenders will include: related investments concerning two sections of the S17 expressway in the Lublin Voivodeship (21 km), two sections of the S10 in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship (40 km) and two sections of the S19 in Mazovia (32 km).
The list also includes tenders for a 14-kilometer section of S12 in the Masovian Voivodeship and four sections of S11 between Szczecinek and Poznań, with a total length of over 78 km.
New bypasses and expressways – plans for 2026
In 2026, GDDKiA intends to announce tenders for investments with a length of nearly 300 km, the value of which is estimated at approximately PLN 12 billion. The planned tasks include not only expressways, but also bypasses.
The management informs that it is planned for next year tenders for the construction of bypasses in Człuchów along DK22/25 (22 km), Starachowice along DK42 (15 km) and Krotoszyn, Zdun and Cieszków along DK15 (17 km).

This year, GDDKiA also plans to conduct tender procedures for eight bypasses. These included the ring roads of Międzybórz (DK25), Milicz (DK15), Sztum (DK55) and Kalisz (DK25)..
Record investment pace in 2027
For 2027, the Management predicts even greater acceleration of investments. Tenders are planned for tasks with a total length of 390 to 480 km.
The investments mentioned include: among others S5 Sobótka-Bolków (57 km), S12 Piotrków Trybunalski-Sulejów (35 km), S12 Radom Południe-Puławy (67 km), as well as the ring roads of Wieluń along DK45 (11 km), Zamość along DK74 (19 km) and Nowa Dęba along DK9 (17 km).
