Bayern are betting on Harry Kane's wife in negotiations with their top scorer!

German champions Bayern want to extend Harry Kane's (32-year-old) contract beyond 2027.

Harry Kane would not be the first player in the world whose football future is in the hands of his wife. Because it is exactly Katie that Bayern is counting on so that in the mercato in January, its goalscorer will waive the termination clause valued at 65 million euros.

The German tabloid Bild writes that the England captain's wife favors staying in the Bavarian capital because the whole family feels very comfortable there. Harry and Katie have 4 children together, Ivy, Vivienne, Louis and Henry, and the school-age ones attend one taught in English.

But the most important aspect is that in Munich they can lead an absolutely normal life, unlike in London, where they went out on the street accompanied by bodyguards, because of the fans and the “dreaded” paparazzi, able to follow them everywhere.

Harry Kane: 'We're really enjoying every second'

“The way people have welcomed us has been amazing. It has touched us deeply as a family – not just me, but all of us. Children go to school and love it. My wife also feels very comfortable in Munich. We are really enjoying every second,” the English international recently revealed.

Bayern want to wait until the end of the January transfer window, when that £65m clause expires, and then negotiate with Kane to extend his deal due in 2027.

Harry Kane now earns €24 million a year

The England captain is now the highest-paid player in the squad, with an annual salary of €24 million, but it is almost certain that if the partnership continues, the figures will remain the same at best. In 2027, he will be 34 years old.

England? Tottenham are waiting for him at home, manager Thomas Frank has stated publicly, but Kane recently stated that “a return to the Premier League is not my priority. I play my best football at Bayern“.
