Potaissa Turda plays today away with the French team, Saint Raphael in the second stage of the EHF European League. The match starts at 21:45 and will be broadcast live by Prima Sport 5.
After losing in the first stage at home against Bidasoa Irun, 33-34, Potaissa Turda tries to produce a surprise in the match at Saint Raphael. Horațiu Gal's players believe that if they manage to keep the rhythm throughout the games, they will have an extra chance to come from France undefeated.

“We have a tough game ahead of us, as all games in this beautiful competition are. Even though they are pre-match favourites, the points are played on the pitch and we are keen to go home with them.
We know it won't be easy, but I think we can have a big game against Saint Raphael. I trust my colleagues and I hope that together we can produce a surprise“, Potaissa's right winger, Cristi Ghiță, said for GSP.

Saint Raphael is a super favorite
Saint Raphael qualified for the EHF European League groups after getting past Danish side Mors Thy in the preliminaries with an overall score of 80-64.
In the first stage of the group, Saint Raphael lost in Germany with Flensburg, score 30-32, a match in which right wing Micke Brasseleur scored 7 goals from 11 shots. The French international also played in Constanta in the 2022-2023 season.

In the last stage of the championship, Saint Raphael lost at Chambery with a score of 33-35 and after 7 stages is in 9th place with 6 points.
For the match against Turda, Saint Raphael is super favorite at bookmakers with odds of 1.04-106, while Transylvanians are quoted with 10.00-16.00.
