The European Union is preparing to introduce a new plan to reduce its dependence on China in the import and refining of critical raw materials. Ursula von der Leyen, president of the European Commission, announced on Saturday that the commission would present an initiative called the “RESourceEU plan”. The project aims to diversify sources of supply of key materials that are necessary for European industry.
