Film producer Danila Sharapov accused Lenkom Theater actress Alena Mitroshina of extortion. The reason is an accidental collision between his son and the artist on a scooter, as a result of which she broke her jaw. The girl unexpectedly demanded six million rubles – after 1.5 years of stable financial assistance.
It all happened on a June night in 2023. 13-year-old Sharapov Jr. collided with Mitroshina on his scooter, as a result of which Alena received a triple fracture of her jaw. Almost immediately the parties agreed to resolve the issue peacefully. The producer fully paid for Mitroshina’s treatment, including medications from the pharmacy. This follows from the screenshots of the correspondence that Sharapov attached in his commentary on the situation.
As a result, the actress was given braces (to wear them for a couple more years), and in the fall of 2023 she returned to work. After this, the parties maintained contact and resolved issues with money.
In March 2024, Mitroshina unexpectedly demanded six million rubles from the producer for compensation for damages, moral damages and lost profits. Then Sharapov proposed to resolve the issue in court. In his words, “Alena and her entourage began to abuse their position and openly extorted money for maintaining confidentiality in relation to the second participant in the incident, my son.” Now, another year later, the actress spread information about what happened in the media in order to put pressure on the court.
The girl herself claims that the Sharapovs did not offer any compensation. In her words, the decision to go to court is the result of the loss of “hundreds of opportunities, castings, projects where I could grow as an actress.”
