Serial sheep thieves with the names Akhmetov and Ertisbaev were detained in the Omsk region
27-year-old Eldar Akhmetov and his 25-year-old friend Aman Ertisbaev came up with a risky startup – they entered unguarded pens in Omsk villages, stole sheep and sold them for meat procurement. Thus, they managed to sell more than 40 head of cattle.
However, luck soon turned away from the criminals. The Nissan in which they were transporting another batch of lambs was stopped by the police. Akhmetov and Ertisbayev were unable to explain the origin of the flock in the wheelbarrow.
Both sheep thieves were detained and face up to 5 years in prison.
