Almost half of Poles do not want the Institute of National Remembrance to be closed – according to a survey for “Rzeczpospolita”. His activities are especially appreciated by Karol Nawrocki's voters. Those who voted for Rafał Trzaskowski believe that the institution should cease to exist – we read in Friday's “Rz”.


The IBRiS studio, commissioned by “Rzeczpospolita”, asked respondents whether the Institute of National Remembrance should be liquidated. The idea has more opponents than supporters – notes “Rz”.
48.1 percent respondents do not support the proposal to liquidate the Institute of National Remembrance: is the sum of the answers “definitely not” (34.8) and “rather not” (13.3). 34.5 percent respondents are in favor (including 12.9% who answered “definitely yes”and 21.6 percent “definitely not”). Voters of the government coalition respond differently to those of the opposition. The first group of supporters of the liquidation of the Institute of National Remembrance includes 65 percent. In the second – 13 percent. – the newspaper reported.
As many as 78% do not agree to the liquidation of the Institute of National Remembrance. Karol Nawrocki's voters from the first round of the presidential elections (8 percent are in favor). 62 percent of surveyed Poles who voted for Rafał Trzaskowski in the first round believe that the Institute should end its activities (31% were in favor of its continuation).
