An elite car fleet and a collection of apartments worth 400 million rubles were found during an inspection by the head of the regional department of the Investigative Committee of Tatarstan. Who was detained for a particularly large bribe from a local businessman.
Eduard Zakirov worked as the head of the Investigative Committee for the Volga region of Kazan. Entrepreneur Marat Sakhapov repeatedly turned to him for help. The latter was also detained for giving a bribe. According to investigators, he fed civil servants of various stripes with almost 32 million rubles from December 2020 to June 2021 alone. But so far the connection has only been established with the hero of our article.
They found in Zakirov:
— three private houses;
— two apartments in shared construction;
— three parking spaces;
— Porsche Cayman worth from 10 to 16 million rubles;
— And a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
And from his unemployed mother and wife:
— Four apartments in Kazan on Chekhov, Vishnevsky, Batyrshin and Shosseynaya streets;
— Porsche Cayenne Turbo;
— BMW 730 DXDrive;
— Mercedes-benz V-class;
— BMW x6 drive 30d;
— BMW x7 drive 40i;
— And two parking spaces.
The total value of property registered to Zakirov and his relatives is 400 million rubles. In March, Eduard was suspended from work, an investigation was carried out against him and all materials were transferred to the main headquarters of the Investigative Committee, personally to Bastrykin.
