“Like when you get knocked out in the head. We're on our way”

On the road, temporarily housed in an ANS building, Petre Bulmaga made several disturbing revelations in a dialogue conducted on Wednesday evening with Gazeta Sporturilor.
The experience lived by the official of the Martial Arts Federation is a terrifying one. The official compared the moment of the explosion to “a knockout that came out of nowhere”, confessing that he did not manage to take any personal items from the apartment he had to leave. But also that he did not have an insurance policy for his home!
“I lost everything” is the troubling conclusion of the coach, who also told how, on the day of the explosion, in the morning, he had gone down to the cellar of the block, where he was struck by the strong smell of gas and smoke.
Petre Bulmaga, caught at home by the explosion in Rahova: “It hit me, it's like when you get a KO in the head”
Attention, the disturbing accounts of the federal contain details with a strong emotional impact!
“I live at “Lia Manoliu”. Until things are clarified, the minister provides me with emergency accommodation and meals. He is helping us at the moment. (No. Bogdan Matei, head of ANS). He said to me: “Sir, stay here until things are decided”, especially since I also have offices at “Lia Manoliu”, I am also a team coach, secretary at the federation. He had a very good reaction.
The town hall allocated us a room until last Friday (no in other area)but tomorrow we have to leave her. But I will take the things I have there, recover them and bring them here, to “Lia Manoliu”, where I will stay for the next period.
I lived permanently in that block, on the first floor. The explosion caught me alone at home. I was in the house, somewhere near the bed, he hit me, threw me… For a long time, I didn't realize what happened, it's like when you get a KO in the head.
It takes time to recover, to see where it came from. Car alarms had started, people started screaming, crying, screaming for help. It's that moment after the disaster… There was dust everywhere, you couldn't see anything.
Just like after the bombing! If you put these pictures next to the ones from Ukraine, there is no difference!”

“Stayed there since 2000, lost everything!”
Bulmaga also says that “at the moment, not even the prosecutor's office entered our staircase! The State Construction Inspectorate (ISC) has given the order to come and put some pillars inside to make a corridor for the prosecutors and those from the investigations.
The decision was to bring a crane from it with a hydraulic arm in order not to move the block towards the “Bolintineanu” High School, floors 5-8 must be cut in a controlled manner, one piece at a time…
It's a complicated process. The problem is that the area needs to be secured. If the block leaves for high school…?! It crashes right into high school. That's why the number one emergency was to have the top cut off. Those from the Sector 5 City Hall also ordered a crane, it's the only functional one in the whole country and it must arrive these days.
I didn't take anything, not even the purse! I only took my phone, a jacket and pants! I lost everything! I was staying there since 2000″added the general secretary of FRAM, who admitted that “unfortunately, we did not have insurance”.
“I went down to the cellar the morning of the explosion. It smelled of smoke too, not just gas”
“The story about the seal being put has no value! The day before, when they came and put the seal, I also went down and witnessed the discussion between the administrator and those who recommended us to enter the website to look for a company. No one knew the company I spoke with the first time.
Yes, that morning they turned off the gas, they turned off everything. I also went into the cellar that morning and it smelled awful. It smelled of gas, the administrator said: “Sir, there is also a smell of smoke”.
As evidence, it was found that the gas did not come through the pipe, but past those pipes. That gas came inside without outsiders checking and controlling. We also called companies… A neighbor complained at 17:00 in the evening, at 19:00 in the evening (no the evening before the explosion) to those from Distrigaz. The seals had no business!
There were no more problems, I don't remember having problems like this, I really don't realize it. Nothing had happened. Maybe the gas stopped, but nothing so serious. But I never had so many discussions… When I made a complaint, they came and it was resolved. Now they came, we called them, they hung up… We didn't make crazy phone calls, everyone said to call because it smells”, said Petre Bulmaga.
Consider that such a process takes 3-5 years. We, at the moment, will stay on the road for many years! Minister Cseke Attila said that one of the companies will be held accountable… But if it's a small company, with 5 employees and a capital of 20,000 euros… What are we left with? Will they compensate us? And if I have nothing to take from that company?
It seemed to me a statement more than blasphemous. We judge ourselves, the administrator gets 10 years in prison, but we, 54 homes, still keep our eyes on the sun!
If the State does not amend its legislation and the Government does not get involved, we do not have a solution and, effectively, 54 homes will remain on the roads. Just to somehow prove that the problem was with the Distrigaz pipelines, which has the financial power to rebuild. Otherwise, we are all on the road!

*According to the Minister of Development, Cseke Attila, the authorities had to establish, as an emergency, a financial framework that would allow the reconstruction of the block, in the event of a decision to demolish it completely, according to the technical expertise.
The gas leak would have occurred outside the block
Last week's horrific explosion was allegedly caused by a gas leak apparently outside the building, or rather, from a gas pipe outside the building.
“Outside the block, on the gas transport column, a crack was found, the piece of pipe and the electric cable from its vicinity were lifted. They serve the conclusions of the expertise. At the moment we cannot conclude with certainty that this is the 100% cause. It is the main hypothesis”, the investigators said, according to HotNews.

The National Agency for Sports had transmitted during the day on Wednesday that Petre Bulmaga received temporary accommodation in the “Lia Manoliu” National Sports Complex.
