The representatives of the place where Artan kissed a young woman without her consent react: “We strongly dissociate ourselves from any manifestations of this kind”

The representatives of nJOY Garden & Club from Bucharest declared, on Wednesday, that they learned from social networks about the incident that took place on Monday in the club, where the soloist Adrian Pleșca, known as Artan, kissed a teenage girl without consent.
“We became aware, via social networks, of the incident that happened on our terrace on Monday, October 20, 2025, during the Open Mic Music Series. We deeply regret what happened in our location, as well as the fact that we were not informed at the time”, said those from nJOY Garden & Club in Mihai Bravu road no. 223.
Local representatives said that there was also a security guard at the location.
“We mention that the event was organized at nJOY by “Aia cu Poezia” – a warm-hearted team, attentive to the human factor and to each participant. There was a security guard and several nJOY employees at the location. We recommend that, in the future, any such situation be reported urgently to the staff at the location”, the statement also states.
The nJOY Garden & Club team said they “disassociate themselves” from what happened.
“We strongly dissociate ourselves from any manifestations of this kind and any form of unfairness. nJOY Garden & Pub remains a space dedicated to beautiful people, arts and the joy of living – as it has been for 2 years, without any major incident in all this time,” the representatives of the venue also stated.
Artan admitted that he kissed a girl without her consent
In a post on social networks, the mother of an 18-year-old girl accused Adrian Pleșca, known by the stage name Artan, of “harassing” her daughter at an event in a restaurant in Bucharest and then going “to another young girl, whom he also kissed on the cheek, also without her consent.”
Contacted by HotNews.ro, Artan said that he kissed a “young and pretty girl”, reasoning “that I saw her more like this, more thoughtful”.
On Wednesday, the Capital Police announced that “it has officially reported the issues reported in the online environment, in order to establish the factual situation”. The institution specified that, until this moment, “no criminal complaint has been filed and there is no direct notification from the people involved”.
