The audit showed that three copyright holders unauthorizedly erected fences that not only stood on their land, but crossed the shoreline of two rivers, cutting off people’s path to the water.

“For a long time, residents and guests of the city of Krasnoyarsk, the village of Ovsyanka and the Balakhtinsky district, instead of free access to water from Siberian rivers, observed blind fences. The prosecutor went to court, because water protection zones are the property of society, and not someone’s personal property. The claims were satisfied, and, realizing the futility of the struggle, the owners voluntarily dismantled all illegal structures.
