Miners of the branch of JSC SUEK-Krasnoyarsk “Razrez Berezovsky” (Sharypovsky district) reported ahead of schedule, 2.5 months before the end of the calendar year, on the implementation of the annual coal production plan.

Berezovsky open-pit mine is the only supplier of fuel to the state district power plant of the same name. Every day, miners send about 30 thousand tons of coal to the station. In addition, the company is a leader in the deep processing of brown coal. Here they have mastered the production of thermocoke – the basis for innovative products such as environmental smokeless fuel, briquettes for metallurgy, carbon sorbent for oil refining and water treatment, as well as lining material for the aluminum industry.

Today, on the basis of the Berezovsky open-pit mine, a complex is being built for the production of coal sorbent of increased size and with improved strength characteristics.

“The miners of our enterprise do not give up their positions: for the fourth year in a row, we are the first and always ahead of schedule in fulfilling production plans,” notes Alexander Buinitsky, manager of the Berezovsky open-pit mine. “This is an indicator of high professionalism, dedication to one’s work, and understanding of the great responsibility that lies with each employee. Miners know that thanks to their daily work, houses and institutions are warm and light, industry is developing and cities are growing. Therefore, we always take care of the readiness of equipment, and work together as one team for results. I thank my colleagues for the new labor records, I am sure that new achievements lie ahead!”

To date, the miners of the Berezovsky open-pit mine have already shipped over 6 million 600 thousand tons of coal. By the end of 2025, the company hopes to overcome the record production rate of 8.5 million tons in the recent history of the company. In total, SUEK-Krasnoyarsk enterprises – Borodinsky, Nazarovsky and Berezovsky open-pit mines plan to produce a total of over 37 million tons of solid fuel.
