Sabrina Maneca-Voinea (18 years old), Denisa Golgotă (23 years old), Ella Oprea (18 years old) and Anamaria Mihăescu (16 years old) qualified for the World Championships in Jakarta on Tuesday. At the end of them, Sabrina got her tickets for Saturday's finals on beam and floor, and Denisa will also perform on floor.

The qualifications in the women's competition have ended, and Romanian gymnasts have qualified in two finals.
Denisa Golgotă will be present in the floor with the fifth mark, 13.333. She missed the individual compound final, having the 28th score.
Sabrina Voinea will perform in the beam and floor finals, which will take place on Saturday, and where the Romanian has access with the third mark, 13.833, respectively with the first, 13.666.
The Romanian was overtaken on the beam by the Chinese Qingying Zhang (14.366) and the Brazilian Flavia Saraiva (13.833), the latter having a better execution mark.
In the finals, everything starts from scratch. Sabrina Maneca Voinea is the first reserve in jumping, she occupied the ninth position at the end of the qualifications.

Anamaria Mihăescu, debutant in a planetary competition, opened the qualification contest for Romania in the IMS Arena in Jakarta. The 16-year-old gymnast scored an 11.300 for her performance, with 4.900 in difficulty and 6.400 in execution.
Denisa Golgotă, returning to an edition of the World Championships after a six-year break, had some small mistakes in her exercise, for which she received 12.833 (difficulty 5.300, execution 7.533).
The one who closed the evolution of the Romanians on the “bridge of sighs” was Sabrina Maneca-Voinea. With a difficult exercise, she controlled her emotions well and left the podium smiling.

He received the highest score in the contest after six subdivisions, 13.833. His difficulty score was the highest in the competition at 6.200 and his execution was rated 7.633.

Denisa performed with a smile on her face and received 13.333 (5.600, 7.733), initially the judges had given her 5.500 for difficulty, but an appeal by the Romanian delegation made her score increase to 5.600.
Sabrina was extremely focused to land the diagonals perfectly. “My God, Sabrina puts everything into this exercise!” exclaimed the Spanish commentator after the Romanian's second diagonal. It received 13.666 (5.900, 7.766), the highest score in the competition for this device.

The third apparatus for the gymnasts from Romania was in the jumps, where only Sabrina Maneca-Voinea presented two jumps, these being mandatory to count in the ranking for qualifying for the final. She received a 13.833 (5.000, 8.833) on her first vault and a 13.200 (4.400, 8.800) on her second, and with an average of 13.516 she was fifth at the time. She hugged her teammates, happy for her progress, this being her last apparatus in the qualifications.
Anamaria Mihăescu, Ella Oprea and Denisa Golgotă performed in parallel. An apparatus that always gave Romanian gymnasts problems, Anamaria received 12.266 (4.800, 7.466), Ella 12.900 (5.400, 7.500), and Denisa 10.300 (4.800, 5.500).

There are four more subdivisions until the rankings are finalized, after which the qualified gymnasts will be determined in the individual compound finals on Thursday and in the apparatus finals on Friday and Saturday.
The best 24 sportswomen, with a limit of two representatives per country, who perform on all four devices, will advance to the individual compound final. The top eight from each apparatus go to the apparatus finals.
After six subdivisions, Romania has Denisa Golgotă in 17th place, with 49.832, and Anamaria Mihăescu in 21st place, with 49.232, among the top 24 in individual competition. Sabrina Voinea has the first mark on floor and beam and the sixth on vault, and Denisa Golgotă has the fifth mark on floor. The gymnasts from Brazil, China and Russia, who are in the competition with the status of neutral athletes, have not performed yet.
