The President of the Energy Regulatory Office imposes an obligation on PGE Obrót to make the payment. Impact on the PGE Group


The administrative decision obliges PGE Obrót to pay the full amount within 30 days from the date of delivery of the document. According to the company's announcement, interest on this amount will be charged from the date of receipt of the decision.

Therefore, PGE Obrót will include a provision of PLN 605 million in its consolidated financial statements for 2025. This action will reduce the EBITDA result of the PGE Capital Group in this period.
The company noted that the amount of the provision may still change. The final value will be presented in the consolidated financial statements for 2025, which will be audited by a Chartered Auditor.
The Management Board of PGE Obrót also emphasizes that the company has the right to appeal against the decision of the President of the Energy Regulatory Office to the court.
