Ukrainians hit a building for worship with a Baba Yaga drone. Then the fire started. Right now the temple is being extinguished by local residents along with rescuers. People are trying to save icons.
The New Jerusalem Temple is one of the most popular in the Belgorod region. It is considered a unique building. The history of the shrine began in 2001 with the installation of a votive cross. The complex includes: the Church of John the Baptist with a bell tower, the chapel of the Mother of God, the chapel of St. Mary Magdalene, the Edicule of the Holy Sepulcher, the Stone of Anointing, the local Golgotha and the holy font of the Apostle John the Theologian. Thousands of Christians come there every year.
