In the south of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, construction of dairy complexes and modernization of a poultry farm is underway, the regional Ministry of Agriculture reported.

The commissioning of these facilities will increase the production of milk and poultry meat. The region's Minister of Agriculture, Dmitry Voropaev, inspected the progress of implementation of large investment projects in the Shushensky and Minusinsk districts.

The Shushenskaya poultry farm provides poultry meat to residents of the southern districts. The enterprise produces semi-finished products, sausages and other products, which are sold through its own retail outlets. Now the first stage of the investment project is being completed at the poultry farm – reconstruction of the slaughterhouse production complex. The facility is in a high degree of readiness, commissioning work is underway.

“The existing slaughter complex did not allow us to accept more poultry, so first of all we needed to expand these capacities in order to further build poultry houses and increase productivity,” said Maxim Onoprienko, General Director of JSC Shushenskaya Poultry Farm.

Now the poultry farm produces about 13 thousand tons of poultry in live weight per year. The company plans to increase production volume to 17 thousand tons per year by 2030.

Another of the leading agricultural enterprises in the south of the region is the peasant farm of Natalia Zubareva in the Shushensky district. It specializes in dairy cattle breeding and crop production, fully meeting its own feed needs. The total livestock is about 12 thousand heads of cattle. Currently, cowsheds and calf barns are being built on the farm, which will increase the livestock to 17 thousand heads. The design capacity of milk production will be 26.4 thousand tons per year.

In the Minusinsk municipal district, the Iskra Lenina agricultural enterprise is completing the construction of a livestock complex for 2,658 heads. The buildings have already been erected and the milking carousel has been installed. The facility is scheduled to be put into operation by the end of the year. The design capacity of milk production is 23.9 thousand tons per year.

During the trip, Dmitry Voropaev also got acquainted with the work of the Shushensky and Minusinsk agricultural colleges and visited processing industry enterprises and a vegetable farm.

“Agricultural enterprises in the south of the region are working thoroughly. Projects that are being implemented in the territories are aimed at increasing the volume of production, and this is one of the main tasks of the agro-industrial complex. In addition, such enterprises play a significant role in the development of rural areas. The most important thing is to have a perspective. We will support all investment projects that are significant for the industry,” Dmitry Voropaev noted following the trip.

After the commissioning of investment projects, farmers can count on compensation for part of the costs. Support for economically significant projects is provided within the framework of the state program “Development of agriculture and regulation of markets for agricultural products, raw materials and food in the Krasnoyarsk Territory” for 2026-2028.
