Two Krasnoyarsk traffic cops were convicted of receiving bribes for illegal registration of cars (video)

In Krasnoyarsk, the senior inspector and inspector of REO of the traffic police No. 3, as well as two local residents are suspected of bribery, committed by an organized group. On the initiation of a criminal case against them under paragraph “a” of part 5 of Art. 290 of the Criminal Code today reported in the UK.

According to the investigation, no later than April 2025, the senior inspector organized a criminal scheme for receiving bribes for registration of vehicles that do not meet technical requirements.

“He attracted his colleague and two acquaintances as accomplices, distributing criminal roles between them: the senior inspector determined the size of the bribe and registered the car, the inspector conducted inspections of vehicles without fixing the existing violations, and intermediaries were engaged in searching for interested parties. Olyrted money by accomplices divided among themselves and disposed of them at their discretion, ”the UK said.

The defendants were detained and already elected to them the preventive measures in the form of detention and house arrest. Searches were also carried out.

Now investigators are establishing all episodes of the criminal activities of the suspects, as well as those who used their services, and the total amount of bribes.

The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the region reported that operatives of their own security are being verified on the fact of the possible involvement of two employees in the crime, they are currently removed from the performance of official duties: “When confirmed by guilt, the defendants will be dismissed from the internal affairs bodies on negative grounds and will be punished in the manner prescribed by law, and their leaders will bring to strict disciplinary responsibility.”
