In St. Petersburg they will begin to fight hogweed using “smart cameras” and drones, the media write.
The State Administrative and Technical Inspectorate, together with the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate, launched a neural network that covers data from thousands of cameras, and with its help Hogweed will be recorded, which will help punish the owners of areas where it grows.
The inspection also trained drone pilots, which, with the permission of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and the FSB (routes are agreed upon), will fly around the city, to record violations in hard-to-reach areas.
