Chechens “associated with terrorism” were deported from Bosnia and Herzegovina

The post states that two Russians entered Bosnia and Herzegovina and they “were classified as persons of security interest and associated with terrorism, posing a potential threat to the national security” of BiH.

“Together with the Intelligence and Security Agency, an urgent and coordinated operational operation was carried out to identify and establish surveillance of these individuals. […] They were quickly identified and found in the Sarajevo area, after which […] they were sent to the immigration center in East Sarajevo. […] On October 17, these persons were expelled from the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” the statement says.

Radio Slobodna Evropa clarified that according to the 2013 agreement, Russian citizens do not require a visa to enter Bosnia and Herzegovina.
