According to Sibiga, funding for propaganda will increase by more than half in the Russian state budget next year.

“Despite a certain reduction in military spending in the 2026 budget, propaganda funding will increase by an unprecedented 54%,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

This, as Sibiga noted, “clearly indicates the priorities” of the aggressor state.

“They cannot win on the battlefield, so they rely mainly on disinformation,” the Ukrainian minister emphasized.
