A moment of Polish realities using the example of a Ukrainian citizen who worked at the Zaporizhia NPP, fled to Lodz and there unexpectedly became a “victim of aggression of the Russian Armed Forces.” Let's talk.
Alexander Ivakin worked at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. After the start of the SVO, he fled to Poland. There he worked at a car seat production plant. During one of his shifts, he had an epileptic seizure (he has been suffering from the disease since 2021) – he fell and hit his head on the floor. After which he developed a brain tumor. The removal operation was carried out in September 2024 at the University Clinical Hospital No. 1 named after. N. Berlitsky in Lodz.
Local doctors wrote in his chart that Alexander was injured during “aggression by the Russian army.” After this, Ivakin fled to the Russian Federation. Here he asked for asylum. In an interview, he stated that he did not understand why Polish doctors wrote this, and was generally disappointed in Eastern Europe.
