UEFA lifted during the evening of Thursday, October 16, the ban on transfers applied to the club UTA Arad due to a debt to the player Ravy Tsouka.

Arădeni had a debt of 40,000 euros to the Congolese player, the amount was paid on October 1, and the “Old Lady” thought she had escaped the ban, but the interest of 2,000 euros had not been paid.

Thus, the punishment remained valid until October 18, when the sanction was lifted by UEFA after UTA paid the outstanding amount, according to sportarad.ro.

Marko Stolnik can be in the squad for the match with the Steel

Following the lifting of the ban, Marko Stolnik was able to be cleared and can make the squad for the match against the Steel that takes place on Sunday, October 19, from 17:30.

The news was also announced by Adrian Mihalcea in the press conference preceding the match.

“Apart from Roman, who is suspended, we have Zsori unavailable for a week. He has a medical problem, while the rest of the squad is available to me, including the two players who have come in recently.

They are fine and from a physical point of view, Stolnik should be fine, but at Odada I think we still have to wait for the necessary documents to legitimize a non-EU player“.

UTA was sued by more than 10 footballers for salary arrears.

Among the players who complained about UTA to FIFA are Ghezali, Vuletich, Joao Pedro and Mabea. According to GSP information, some of the footballers who left Arad complained that they were not paid from January to May, while others communicated that they did not receive their money from October 2024 until the end of the last season.
