The Cameroonian in Dinamo's goal, convinced by his wife to come to Bucharest, reveals what he likes and what shocked him in Romania: “Yes, it's disturbing!”
Devis Epassy, 32 years old, Cameroonian goalkeeper at Dinamospoke in an interview for GSP about his family, about his wife originally from Romania, but also about daily life, the traffic in Bucharest and the hospitality of the people.
Epassy has been married to Karina Maria since 2023. The two have a little girl together. The Romanian is originally from Găesti, Dâmbovița county, and was a masseur until she met the African goalkeeper.

“I stay at home most of the time because I'm with my daughter, with my wife. It doesn't matter where I am, here in Bucharest or somewhere else, I stay at home. But for her it's easier in Romania, because her family is here. Her friends are here, so for her it's simple. For me, the same.
I love it when my family comes to the games, when our friends come to the stadium. I know my nephew on her side is a Rapid fan, so we have a family battle on Sunday”, said the player from Cameroon.
Epassy declares himself impressed by the way of life in Romania, the local tastes and the goodwill of the people:
“I tried specific food. There are many restaurants I tried. I know many good places, not only in Bucharest, but in all of Romania, because my wife and I walk a lot. And life here is very good. Very chill, very good.
People are very generous at heart. Very good, very kind. And that's something I really like about them,” the Dynamo goalkeeper said.
As for the weather in Romania and traffic in Bucharest, he continued:
“Summer is hot, but winter is very cold. The first time I came to Romania was in November. It was very cold. And that was the first impression when I came here.
In the morning, yes, the traffic is annoying. To get to practice or take my daughter to kindergarten, I have to get up early. But most of the time, when I'm at home, it doesn't bother me,” Epassy said.
