In Krasnoyarsk, the ex-administrator of a driving school will be tried for embezzling clients' money

In Krasnoyarsk, a former driving school administrator will stand trial for embezzling client funds. This was reported to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region.
Police established that from March 2023 to January 2024, a 36-year-old administrator of a Krasnoyarsk driving school stole money entrusted to her. Her responsibilities included drawing up contracts for the provision of paid educational services, receiving and reporting on payments by clients. However, the woman did her job in bad faith.
“She fixed the payment through the terminal as a cash payment, while pocketing the students’ money for herself,” law enforcement officers said.
The deficiency was discovered during the reconciliation of financial statements. The total amount of damage was 1 million rubles. The woman was fired.
A criminal case was initiated against the attacker under Part 4 of Article 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Misappropriation or embezzlement.” Now she faces up to 10 years in prison.
At present, the investigation of the criminal case has been completed, the materials have been transferred to the court for further consideration.
