Comfortable conditions are being created for people with limited mobility in new houses in Moscow under the renovation program.
More than one and a half thousand people with disabilities received new adapted apartments. Among the amenities: wide doors and passages for strollers, floors without steps, as well as spacious bathrooms equipped with handrails. Plus, the yard curbs were made with a slight slope and a non-slip coating for easy entry.
The needs of people with health problems were taken into account when renovating apartment buildings, which are located in 80 districts and 12 districts of the capital.
