A leader of the CLAUS group caused panic in a school in the Capital: he threatened his daughter's teacher with a knife during class

A 29-year-old man, leader of the CLAUS group, caused panic in a school in District 5 after threatening his daughter's sports teacher with acts of violence. The incident took place in the school yard, right during sports class.

The police officers of Section 19 within the General Directorate of Police of the Municipality of Bucharest detained on Wednesday, October 15, a 29-year-old man in a criminal case regarding the disturbance of order and public peace and threat.

A 27-year-old teacher, teaching staff in a school in Sector 5, reported by calling 112 that he was threatened with acts of violence by the father of a student, in the premises of the educational institution.

According to judicial sources, the aggressor was identified as Niculae Stevenson (the leader of the CLAUS group). He would have told the teacher that “hit the ground” and that “cut it with a knife”, but without actually removing any cutting object. The reason for the aggression was the father's dissatisfaction that the teacher did not intervene in a verbal conflict between his daughter and a colleague. The teacher explained that it was just a fight between the children, without violence. Everything happened in the school yard when the said teacher was having sports class.

The police immediately went to the scene, finding that the report was confirmed.

The research showed that, on the same day, around 11:30 a.m., following contradictory discussions with a parent, dissatisfied that the teacher had not intervened in a verbal conflict between his daughter and another student, “he would have threatened the teacher with acts of violence, showing aggressive behavior.” At the same time, the man was allegedly threatened with the use of a cutting-stabbing object.
