Toyota presented for the first time a new generation of Corolla – the most popular model in Poland for years – reports motor1.com. It's a concept model for now, but there are two details that draw attention and suggest that the new Toyota Corolla will be an electric car.
Although the new Toyota Corolla concept is scheduled to see the light of day in all its glory at the end of October during the Japan Mobility Show 2025, the new generation, for now called the Corolla concept, was smuggled in a video announcing the new models.
As motor1.com suggests, the new Toyota Corolla may be an electric car, as indicated by two details in its appearance. The first is the lack of a classic fuel filler, instead of which the attention is drawn to a flap located on the left front fender, under which there may be a charging port.
Theoretically, the new Corolla could also be a plug-in hybrid. Such information appeared at the beginning of the year. We wrote then that the new generation of Corolla would hit the market in 2026.
The second detail suggesting an electric drive in the Corolla concept is the completely enclosed front of the car, i.e. the radiator grille.
Toyota Corolla – this drive dominates in Poland
