The ex-deputy director of the Krasnoyarsk football club received a 3.5-year suspended sentence for bribery

The court sentenced the former deputy director of marketing of the Yenisei football club. He was found guilty of commercial bribery, prosecutors said.

As the investigation established, in August 2024, the accused proposed to the supply manager to organize paid sales of products and advertising at the Lenin Komsomol stadium, which was transferred to the club for free use. To give the appearance of legitimacy, a fictitious agreement was concluded with Azat LLC for 150 thousand rubles.

Suspecting fraud, the entrepreneur contacted law enforcement agencies. Under the control of the investigation, he transferred 550 thousand rubles to an intermediary, who transferred half of the amount to the organizer of the scheme. In court, the ex-deputy director admitted guilt and asked not to deprive him of his freedom.

The man received a suspended sentence of 3.5 years with a probationary period of 3 years and a fine of 1.6 million rubles. The court also confiscated 550 thousand rubles to the state – the amount of bribery received.

Previously, his accomplice had already been sentenced to 1.5 years of probation with a fine of 1.65 million rubles for mediation in commercial bribery. Both are prohibited from holding leadership positions in government bodies for three years.
