The regional Office of Rospotrebnadzor told Krasnoyarsk residents how to wash their hands correctly.

Experts believe that this procedure must be approached wisely and given enough time. After all, washing your hands for 20-30 seconds removes much more germs than washing your hands for a shorter period. It is also necessary to follow the hand washing technique: treat the inside, then the back of the hands, the skin between the fingers and under the nails, do not forget to wash the thumb.

Hands should be washed under clean running and not very hot water. High temperatures in this case do not in any way increase the effectiveness of the treatment, but only lead to subsequent peeling and irritation of the skin. If you don’t have soap and water at hand, you can use an antiseptic with an alcohol content of at least 60%.

After washing, you need to dry your hands thoroughly. Remember that a towel repeatedly used by different people is a source of germs and should not be touched. The best solution is to take a clean towel or use a dryer.
