In Krasnoyarsk and Zheleznogorsk, the “Tyre Covers” campaign will be held, the regional Ministry of Ecology reported.
The eco-community “Further” has been holding the “Tyre Cover” campaign for the third year. Its main goal is to attract the attention of the population and scale up the correct habits for recycling tires. Let us remind you that car tires are not classified as municipal solid waste and are not subject to removal by the regional operator. They represent hazard class IV and must be disposed of separately. Therefore, after delivery, all returned tires will be sent for shredding.
You can return tires for free October 19 from 11:00 to 15:00 at the following addresses:
- Krasnoyarsk, Karla Marx, 148a (Red Square);
- Zheleznogorsk, Krasnoyarskaya, 9, building 2 (Alligator).
Only car and truck tires up to R22, as well as bicycle tires, can be returned. Tires with punctures and cuts will be accepted. The limit per person is 4 tires.
The Ministry of Ecology noted that this year the partner of the action is the tire recycler Tatneft. The action will be held in Zheleznogorsk for the first time.
