Three poachers were caught with roe deer meat near Sharypovo

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory In the village of Skvortsovo, Sharypovsky municipal district, men were detained with roe deer meat, the press service of the regional police reported.
In September, traffic police officers, together with hunting inspectors, stopped the Niva to check documents. The driver was a 44-year-old man. Also in the car were two of his friends, 53 and 34 years old. When inspecting the car, police found a legally registered gun, as well as a bag of meat.
It turned out that the men were engaged in illegal hunting in a forest area near the village of Skvortsovo. There they shot two roe deer, skinned and butchered the carcasses and loaded the meat into the Niva.
The total amount of material damage caused was 320 thousand rubles. A criminal case has been initiated against the men under Part 2 of Art. 258 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Illegal hunting”. They may face imprisonment for up to 5 years.
The sanction of the article implies a maximum penalty of imprisonment for a term of up to 5 years.
