“Only people with health problems” could have chosen the photo used by Time magazine, said, angry spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zaharova.

Moscow has criticized Time magazine for the cover that depicts US President Donald Trump, after even the White House leader condemned the image, writes Politico.

Trump himself attacked the leadership of the magazine, on Tuesday morning, for photography-that accompanied the cover article in which his peace agreement in the Middle East was praised-considering it “the worst of all time.”

The photo was taken from a bottom angle, with Trump lighting from the back of the sunlight, depicting it with “something floating above my head, which looked like a floating crown, but an extremely small one,” he annoyed, in a message published on the social network Social.

“Time magazine wrote a relatively good article about me, but the photo is probably the worst of all time. They made my hair” disappear “and then they put something floating over my head, which looked like a floating crown, but an extremely small one! I never liked to be photographed from the angles. the leader at the White House.

The spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zaharova, also criticized the cover, writing on Telegram that the choice of photography is “shocking”, in the context in which Moscow continues to enter Trump's graces.

“Only people who are not healthy (at the head, no), obsessed with wickedness and hatred – maybe even” strange ” – could have chosen such a photo,” she said, seemingly angry.

Although the links between Moscow and Washington have improved somewhat since Trump started his second term, the Republican leader inviting Russian President Vladimir Putin to Alaska peace negotiations, the Kremlin's refusal to end his invasion of Ukraine has burdened the relationship between the two countries.

The US president appeared on the cover of the famous magazine after signed in Egypt, a pact meant to put an end to the war of Israel in the Gaza strip, after two years of bloodshed. He welcomed the agreement between Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas as one who needed “3,000 years” to be concluded.

Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski subsequently exhorted Trump to contribute to the end of the Russian War in Ukraine, as did the peace for the Palestinian enclave devastated by the conflict.

“I hope he will use the same tools even more to press Putin to stop the war,” Zelenski told Fox News on Sunday.
