The presidents of the US and Ukraine, Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky, will talk at the White House on Friday about what weapons should be delivered to Ukraine and whether the Americans should give Tomahawk cruise missiles to the Ukrainians, Axios wrote on Monday.

– There are some matters that cannot be discussed over the phone – a source told the website.
The president of Ukraine is scheduled to arrive in Washington on Thursday. On Monday night, the head of his office, Andriy Yermak, will arrive in the United States to prepare for this visit.
The leaders' meeting on Friday will take place after their telephone conversations on the sale of Tomahawk missiles to Kiev.
Trump said that before he decides to transfer Tomahawk long-range cruise missiles to Ukraine, he must talk to Russian leader Vladimir Putin. Trump said he intended to tell Putin that if he did not end the war, he would share missiles with Ukraine.
On Sunday, in an interview with Fox News, Zelensky assured that the missiles that Ukraine may obtain – provided the US consents – will only be used to attack military targets in Russia. – This is the difference between us and Russia – he emphasized. Russia, in turn, announced a harsh response if American cruise missiles are transferred to Ukraine.
