

The artist noted that she is aware of the likelihood of malicious comments and neglect from ordinary people.
“I have never shifted responsibility onto anyone. My career has always been completely dependent on me personally,” she shared. “I am fearless in this challenge; I am not stopped by incompetent opinions. And with those with whom I can enter into an intellectual discourse, I will willingly do so. Why does this not lead me astray from my path? Because everything is written from the heart and from the call of the soul.”
Tina Karol noted that she is the author of all components of her work.
“Yes, I control every detail; yes, I myself am the director of all scripts and texts, melodies and creative presentation. This is self-expression, this is uniqueness. I appreciate this opportunity. Thanks to all like-minded people,” the singer added.
Context
Tina Karol (real name Tatyana Liberman) was born on January 25, 1985 in the village of Orotukan in the Magadan region of the Russian Federation. In 1992, the family moved to Ukraine – to the homeland of the singer’s mother, Ivano-Frankivsk.
In 2005, the artist took second place in the New Wave competition and received a special award from Russian singer Alla Pugacheva. In 2006, Karol represented Ukraine at the international Eurovision Song Contest, where she took seventh place. In 2009 she was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine, and in 2017 – People's Artist.
