Exceptional air ballet show in Oradea. Thousands of people watched “The Molecule Show”

With their eyes to the sky and the faces full of astonishment, thousands of Oradea attended an impressive street show on the center of the city on Saturday night. The attraction of the evening was “The Molecule Show”, an aerial ballet made with the help of huge balloons filled with helium, related to them like molecules.

The first performance started at 7.10 pm in Ferdinand Square, after the organizers moved the scene from Unirii Square at the request of artists. A ballerina dressed in a white dress, with an angel, was raised to the sky of balloons, executing delicate and precise movements, above the crowd and in front of the Regina Maria theater. The culminating moment was the meeting of the “angel” with a mortal on the foot, who received his white ball, who ended with a hug, to the delight of the spectators.
The second representation, from 20.20, also gathered a large audience, while the center of Oradia was full of people, sometimes going man next to man between Unirii Square, Ferdinand Square and Promenade Freedom. In addition to the air ballet, the villagers also watched other street art numbers, such as Carousel – artists with lamps – and Dark Squad, Toboșari with Darth Vader. All representations were applauded and filmed by participants.
The concerts of the evening brought on stage the artists Rareș, Jo and Delia, with whom the public, especially the children and teenagers, sang and danced.
Festifall continues on Sunday, the last day of the festival, with new representations of “The Molecule Show” at 19.10, 20.20 and 21.10, but also with concerts by Byron & Muse Quartet, Carla's Dreams and Hooverphonic. Also on Sunday, the Center of Oradia will host official events dedicated to the City Day, including the award of the Olympic students at the Philharmonic (9.30), the festive meeting of the Local Council (12.25) and a military ceremony at the statue of King Ferdinand and at the Aurel Lazăr Memorial Museum (13.00).
October 12 marks for Oradea two historical moments: the signing of the Declaration of Independence of Romanians in Transylvania in 1918 and the release of the city under the Horthyst regime in 1944.
