The annual tariff of the Rovinieta for cars will increase considerably since September 1, 2025, reaching an almost double price from the current one, according to the changes made by Law 141/2025, which includes the first package of fiscal measures approved by the Government.

Thus, starting with September 1, 2025, Law no. 141/2025, which brings the following changes regarding the deletion for cars:
– The annual rate of the deletion for cars increases from € 28 to € 50 (VAT included).
– The fine for the lack of the ruin increases, from 250–500 lei to 500–1,000 lei.
“The rates paid before this time remain valid for the entire validity period for which they were issued. We recommend that you check the validity of the ruin and make sure you follow the new regulations to avoid sanctions.”CNAIR informed.
Thus, starting with September 1, the tariffs for the ruin will grow as follows:
The one -day ruin: from 2.5 euros to 3.5 euros
10 -day ruin: from 3.3 euros to 6 euros
30 -day ruin: from 5.3 euros to 9.5 euros
60 -day ruin: from 8.4 euros to 15 euros
12 -month -old ruin: from 28 euros to 50 euros
At the same time, the fine for the absence of the ruin increases, from 250-500 lei to 500–1,000 lei.
FINES
The amount of the contravention fine varies according to the maximum authorized total mass (MTMA) or the number of places.
For cars: the amount of the contravention fine (lei) is: minimum 500 lei, maximum 1000 lei;
For freight vehicles with MTMA less than or equal to 3.5 tonnes: the amount of the contraventional fine (lei) is: minimum 950 lei, maximum 1,900 lei;
For freight vehicles with MTMA greater than 3.5 tonnes and less than or equal to 7.5 tonnes, the amount of the contraventional fine (lei) is: minimum 1,550 lei, maximum 3,100 lei;
For freight vehicles with MTMA greater than 7.5 tonnes and less than 12.0 tonnes, the amount of the contravention fine (lei) is: minimum 2,750 lei, maximum 5,500 lei;
For freight vehicles with MTMA greater than or equal to 12.0 tonnes, with a maximum of 3 axes (inclusive), the amount of the contraventional fine (lei) is: minimum 3,550 lei, maximum 7,100 lei;
For freight vehicles with MTMA greater than or equal to 12.0 tonnes, with a minimum of 4 axes (inclusive), the amount of the contraventional fine (lei) is: minimum 5,950 lei, maximum 11,900 lei;
For transport vehicles persons with more than 9 seats (including driver) and maximum 23 seats (including driver), the amount of the contravention fine (lei) is: minimum 1,550 lei, maximum 3,100 lei;
For transport vehicles persons with more than 23 seats (including driver), the amount of the contraventional fine (lei) is: minimum 2,750 lei, maximum 5,500 lei.
